About the Course
Salsa is a Latin dance, associated with the music genre of the same name. It has African and Caribbean Roots. Salsa dancing is a mixture of several Latin dances, with each region adding its own flavor to the dance. Because of this, there are several styles of salsa, including NY style, LA style, Cuban, Afro-Latino, Colombian salsa and more.
No partner is required for this class, partners will rotate unless not preferred by coupled dancers, and complete beginners are always welcome to beginner classes. Intermediate dancers will need to show their knowledge with an instructor for entry into intermediate classes.
